We are in Leipzig!; however, I will backtrack to yesterday in Wittenberg to fill in a few blanks due to my short post last night. It was a Luther day!! After the Luther House Museum, we walked to the various other sites where Luther & friends walked, preached, etc.

While trying to write this blog, I realize that I retain very little of the actual facts that we are told on our tours. I enjoy the information and being able to stand in the same place as Luther & others, but then, poof, the information is gone from my head.

These two are of St Mary's Church where Luther preached, was married & baptized his six children. Our group had a service in the sacristy with some of the group forming a choir and singing two songs.

This is a long view of Castle church where Luther is buried.

In our free time, Joan Neubauer & I took the city tour train ride which gave us a chance to see some of Wittenberg outside of the pedestrian street area. Above is one mural we saw.

Upon returning to the hotel we had a nice send brot (night bread) meal of breads, cheeses, and meats.
So a scant recap of July 20 in Wittenberg!!
